![]() ![]() The good news is that by this point you should be really close to level 12. You will get overwhelmed on every single level in this stage rather quickly. This stage is significantly more difficult then the rest of the game. If you find a particular level to be worrisome do use the water consumable and just spam Marines to take out the barricade.Įventually, you'll unlock the final stage/region. You can cheese a lot of the later levels this way. A key thing to note is that in many stages it's easier to just spam lots of Marines to quickly take out the barricade before the game's level starts sending any real enemies at you. You can also go back to some of the earlier "nightmare" levels that you skipped since you should be able to beat them with your high level units. You should be able to clear most levels in stages without too much of a problem. You can replay stages you've already cleared in order to get more stars to unlock new stages (if needed) and you'll also get about 10% of the original XP for replaying the level. For the most part you should be able to complete all of the stages with the build in the "tips" section so long as you've been upgrading your units with only +3 items. ![]() How many stars you get does not matter for XP, but it does matter for unlocking stages. Beating new stages for the first time gives you the most XP so your goal is to beat pretty much only new stages if at all possible. The end game is all about levelling up to 12 as quickly as possible. ![]() You shouldn't have had a need to use any up to this point, and you probably will not need to use any until the last stage, except for an oddly difficult stage or boss. These are absolutely necessary for the final stage of the game. The power ups are consumables that give you extra water, rage, or quick cooldowns (the last one is pretty useless). Unfortunately, it's by far the longest one with somewhere around 5 more hours to go.Ī thing to note is that you should start saving power-ups at this time for the end-game stage. All that there is left is the last achievement: getting to level 12. You've unlocked 11/12 achievements and 800GS. This will unlock the following achievement:Īt this point you should be somewhere around 2.5 hours into the game. Once you hit stage 3, the very first level (level 31) has a new enemy type (the robber - a human with a shotgun). You can always go back to stages once you're more leveled up to get 3 stars if there's a particular stage you need to unlock. You can for the most part just get by clearing levels (which will give you a nice chunk of XP to level up so you can in turn level up your units). Stars only really serve to unlock some stages. However, don't worry too much about doing so. You can 3-star almost all of the game's levels by not taking any damage to your bus. Once you unlock the generator (player level 7), you'll prioritize getting one out so you can spam a whole lot of units and overwhelm the barricade. For most of the normal levels you will be spamming Rednecks and backing them up with Farmers, while using abilities to do any sort of crowd control. Note that there will be some "nightmare" difficulty levels in the early stages that you can ignore until you level up more. You will be slowly building towards it throughout the mid-game. ![]() The build in the "tips" section should be enough to get you through all of the games stages except the last one. Unfortunately things will slow down a bit from now on. So far we're sitting at 8/12 achievements and 500GS with only a half hour of investment. ![]()
